Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship between servant leadership with the meaning of work on employees at the Christian School Widya Wacana Surakarta Foundation. The subjects in this study are employees at the Christian School Widya Wacana Surakarta Foundation with a total of 52 employees. The instrument used in this study are scale of servant leadership and scale of the meaning of work. The hypothesis which was offered there is a positive relationship between servant leadership with the meaning of work. This research uses quantitative method and the sampling is used population study technique. The method that is used to analyze the data is Product Moment correlation from Karl Pearson with help of SPSS 20.0 for windows release. The result of data analysis shows the correlation coefficient of = 0,403 with p = 0,003 (p <0.01). It proves that there is a very significant positive relationship between servant leadership with the meaning of work employee, so the hypothesis that is proposed in this study is accepted.
