Abstract

Management of hospital medicine was an action that affect management functions including selection, procurement, distribution and use of medicine. BPJS (Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Sosial) tiered referral system influences procurement and strategy plans, especially on medicine. Claim payment by BPJS to Advanced Health Facilities through Indonesia-Case Based Group (INA-CBG's) rates. INA-CBG's tariff based on a disease diagnosis grouping service package, implementation of claim payments by BPJS often misses proper time causes medicine supply in the hospital disrupted. To avoid stock out, a method is needed to control medicine supply at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Nganjuk. Processed data from the results of this study were data collection and medicine management, document observation and interviews. In the initial stage medicine were analyzed using ABC and VEN methods then AE categories was obtained. Medicine with AE category were analyzed using the EOQ and ROP methods. Observation and measurement of medicine inventory control efficiency using indicators of inventory value and customer service level, then results of this study was tested with Paired t-Test statistics. Results of this study were combination of ABC and VEN analysis methods could identify medicine that required strict inventory control and prioritize 29 items of BPJS AE categories. Inventory value indicators with the application of the EOQ and ROP methods may increase the efficiency of BPJS medicine management and reduce inventory value by Rp.71,943,426 and increase the effectiveness of customer service levels at Bhayangkara Hospital Level III Nganjuk. EOQ and ROP methods producing easy planning and procurement and to control and monitor medicine supply in order to given on time and the availability of medicine supplies could be maintained.
