Abstract

Post stroke condition is a susceptible condition about stress problem. To cope stress talked about, need a strategies to accomplish a problem, to adapt from alteration, along with respons about endanger situation. Subject in this research is a former strokepatient along with use candrajiwa concept as type of his coping strategies. This research take two subject, one subject as research subject while the other one as informant. Due to the nature of cases is not easy to match so induce this research just take one research subject. Be based on interview and observation as the main method from this research, also found several factors affecting coping strategies in the process of post stroke recovery. Factors that affect is self control,selfawareness,cognitive effort and family support. Data analysis technique used in this research is thematic analysis wtithperform coding the result of transcript who has been in the verbatim and description of the observation.
