Abstract

The hospital is an organized structure that combines all the health professions and plays an important role in the maintenance of health. This study aimed to analyze the effect of transformational leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance and job satisfaction as mediating (study at RSUD Dr.H. Chasan Boesoirie Ternate North Maluku Province). This research is causative . The sampling technique used nonprobability sampling method. The samples used were 100 respondents. Data were obtained from questionnaires about the effect of transformational leadership style, organizational culture on employee performance and job satisfaction as mediating. Data were analyzed using regression analysis method Baron & Kenny (1986 ). The results showed variable transformational leadership style had no effect on job satisfaction with the value of t = 1.005, organizational culture affects job satisfaction with the value t = 5.25, job satisfaction affects employee performance with a value of t = 3.94, effect of transformational leadership style the performance of employees with a value of t = 3.63, effect of organizational culture on employee performance with a value of t = 4.12, whereas job satisfaction as mediating no effect between transformational leadership style on employee performance with a value of t = 3.48 and job satisfaction as mediating effect on the performance of employees with a value of t = 2.04.
