Abstract

Plants that have properties to enhance memory is (Nigella sativa L) black cumin seeds. Plant selection to be combined with black cumin seeds are (Sesamum indicum L) sesame seeds is efficacious protect cells from oxidative damage. The aim of research to determine whether the combination of black cumin seed extract and sesame seeds can increase the effect of the increase in memory and determine the dose most optimal. Research methods of the maze. Groups of animals test Consisted of 35 mice tails with the treatment groups 7, positive control, negative control, black cumin single 11,2 mg/kg BW,sesame single 0,56 mg/kg BW, dose combination black cumin seed extract and sesame seeds with a first dose variation is a the combination I : 11, 2 mg/kg ; 0,28 mg/kg BW, the combination II: 11.2 mg / kg ; 0.56 mg / kg bw. The combination III : 11.2 mg / kg ; 1.12 mg / kg BW. The data is analyzed using latency time ANOVA two way. Results of statistical tests showed a significant differences from each group test. The combination that can enhance memory and can provide an optimal effect is a combination II : 11.2 mg / 20 g BB ; 0.56 mg / g and combination III : 11.2 mg / 20 g BB ; 1 , 12 mg / g on mice with the influence of the increased weight of white mice Keywords: memory, extract, black cumin seeds , sesame seeds,
