Abstract

Coffee is one of the refresher material presented in the form of drinks and many had much cache by the community because it has sympathy distinctive flavor. In coffee possible Pb and Cu metal artifacts derived from the use of pesticides and excess fertilizer and soil where the growth comes from the coffee. In this research, qualitative and quantitative assay test. Qualitative test was conducted to determine the content in the sample are Pb and Cu. In a test of qualitative and quantitative test samples of ground coffee Lampung done by digestion using HNO3. The results based on qualitative test showed that positive Lampung coffee samples containing Cu. This is seen in the results of qualitative analysis using UV-Vis Spectrophotometer which shows the maximum wavelength at 325.0 nm. While on the Pb results are negative, because there was no maximum wavelength at 217 nm. From the results of the qualitative test quantitative, quantitative test is performed to determine the concentration of Cu contained in the sample. The concentration of Cu in samples obtained from the sample absorbance is measured using Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometer at a wavelength of 324.7 nm. Results absorbance can be entered into the linear regression equation that has been made is Y = 0,14265x + 0.00359, obtained copper metal content in the sample amounted 1 of 11.3452 mg / kg sample 2 of 10.9257 mg / kg and samples 3 of 10.7149 mg / kg with an average grade of samples of 10.9952 mg / kg.
