Abstract

Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease that causes joints, destruction, deformity, and disability. The purpose of this study to determine the pattern of drug use and drug suitability according to FRS and RA drug rationality in RSUD Dr. Moewardi reviewed from the exact aspects of indication, precise patient, exact drug, and exact doses evaluated using RPRI 2014. This research is a non-experimental study obtained from retrospective data that is medical record data of Rheumatoid Arthritis patients who are undergoing hospitalization in 2013-2017. Samples were taken by purposive sampling method where the sample was determined based on the inclusion criteria. This study was conducted on 47 medical record data that received RA drugs. Rationality of RA drug use was assessed from the medical record data then analyzed by using the percentage of occurrence of the points included in the rationality of the drug. Evaluation of the use of RA drugs shows the pattern of drug use there are two types of drugs namely single drug and combination. Based on the conformity according to FRS the result (100%) and rationality of RA drug use according to RPRI 2014 is accurate 80.85%, exact medicine 91,49%, 100% correct dosage, and patient appropriately 87,23%.
