Abstract

Chalcone is an secondary metabolite compound of the group flavonoid. Chalcone have Biological activity such as antibacterial. Activity of analog compound 3’,4’-diclorochalcone such as 1-(3,4-diklorofenil)-3(2-furanil)prop-2-en-1-on, 3-(3indolil)-1-(3,4-diklorofenil)prop-2-en-1-on an antibacterial activity in Salmonella typhi ATCC 13311. Compound 1-(3,4-diklorofenil)-3(2-furanil)prop-2-en-1-on, 3-(3indolil)-1-(3,4diklorofenil)prop-2-en-1-on is a synthesis of the Organic Synthesis Laboratory of the University of Setia Budi. The test of the dilution Activity method to determine the Minimum Kill Concentration (MKC) of analog compound 3’,4’-diclorochalcone. Dilution method with 10 serial tube, which from a dilution series with concentrations of 2500 ppm, 1250 ppm, 625 ppm, 312,5 ppm, 156,25 ppm, 78,125 ppm, 39,0625 ppm, 19,53215 ppm, 9,765625 ppm, 4,88281 ppm, then inoculated on media BSA (Bismuth sulfite Agar). Dilution methods of data results were then compered with the result of computational chemistry to determine the activity relationship. The results of shared compound 3-(3indolil)-1-(3,4-diklorofenil)prop-2-en-1-on have KBM : 1250 ppm, while compound 1-(3,4-diklorofenil)-3(2-furanil)prop-2-en-1-on showed no KBM. This is shows compound 3-(3indolil)-1-(3,4-diklorofenil)prop-2-en-1-on have inhibit at Salmonella typhi ATCC 13311. Cβ value parameter gives effect to increased activity as antibacterial Key words: 3’,4’-diclorochalcone, dilution, Salmonella typhi ATCC 13311.
